Symposium on aviation industry

Hyderabad, April 17

Srinidhi-Vaughn Institute of Aeronautics and Technology will be organising an international symposium on ‘Opportunities and challenges facing the aviation sector’ in association with Vaughn College of Aeronautics, USA at its premises here on Saturday. The institute has also joined hands with National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Bangalore to organise ‘Aerofest 2009’ to showcase NAL’s technologies, Mr K.T. Mahi, Founder-Chairman, Srinidhi Gro up, told newspersons here. “The main objective of the symposium is to send the message that despite the economic slowdown, there is growth in the aviation industry. Over next five years, 5,000 skilled personnel will be required in the industry,” he said. Many experts from aviation industry, including top executives from Boeing, Airbus, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, would be participating in the meet, he added.
