Tata Motors ties up with 5 insurance cos

Tata Motors has partnered with five insurance companies — National Insurance, ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company, Royal Sundaram Alliance, United India Insurance and HDFC Ergo General Insurance to provide insurance for the Nano. The premium would be 2.76 per cent of the ex-showroom price of the car. For the base model, the insurance premium would work out to be Rs 3,468 (New Delhi-ex showroom price Rs 1,23,360), for the intermediate model Rs 3,959 (Rs 1,48,360) and Rs 4,431 for the high-end model (Rs 1,72,360).
