Member (Engg) of Railway Board

New Delhi, April 7

Mr Rakesh Chopra has taken over as the new Member (Engineering), Railway Board, and ex-officio Secretary to the Government of India. His predecessor, Mr S.K. Vij, superannuated from this post on March 31, said an official release. An officer of Indian Railway Service of Engineers of the 1971 exam batch, Mr Chopra took charge with effect from April 1. Prior to joining as Member (Engineering), Railway Board, Mr Chopra served as General Manager, Southern Railway. —
