CBEC gets new member

New Delhi, April 2

The Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) has a new Member in Ms Chitra Gouri Lal. Prior to her elevation, Ms Lal was holding the charge of Chief Commissioner of Central Excise and Service Tax in Delhi zone. She has been appointed to the CBEC Board following the retirement of CBEC Member Mr B.K.Gupta. No portfolio has yet been assigned to Ms Lal, according to a CBEC spokesperson. —
