Keels laid for 3 vessels at HSL

Visakhapatnam, March 22

Keels have been laid for three ships at Hindusthan Shipyard Ltd (HSL) here, according to a press release. The keel of 50-tonne bollard pull tug was laid by the Chairman of the Visakhapatnam port, Mr Ajeya Kallam, at the fabrication shop. The keel of another 50-t bollard pull tug was laid by the HSL Deputy General Manager, Mr B.S.K. Bhakta. HSL has so far built nine tugs, four of them for the VPT, and all are working satisfactorily, claims the release. Keel was also laid for a 53,000-dwt bulk carrier being built for Good Earth Maritime Ltd by the DGM (P&M), Mr. T. Sai Prasad. - Our Bureau
