Turkey nod for GVK Bio unit

Hyderabad, March 18

The clinical pharmacology unit of GVK Biosciences here has received approval from the Ministry of Health, Turkey, for conducting bioequivalence studies. A team of officials from Turkey inspected the facility and carried out a detailed audit of systems and processes for Good Clinical Practices and Good Laboratory Practices requirements before granting approval, according to a release. The approval would enable the company to cater to generic drug manufacturers in Turkey as well as to those who intend to market their generic drug products in Turkey, the release said. - Our Bureau
