Net App India has extended its virtualisation guarantee facility to non-Net app storage systems. Companies with non-Net App primary storage capacity are guaranteed at least a 35 per cent reduction in their storage capacities by using Net App technology, said Mr Surajit Sen, Director (Marketing and Alliances) for Net App India. In case the usage of Net App technology does not save disk space as guaranteed, the company would provide additional storage capacity to meet the sh ortfall free of cost, Mr Sen said. The cost could vary from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 60 lakh depending on the size and requirements of the company. Net App’s existing customers include WNS, HDFC Standard Life Insurance and Financial technologies. —
