Our Bureau Hyderabad, March 10 The sleuths of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday took into custody disgraced former-Chairman of Satyam Computer Services, Mr Ramalinga Raju, and four others for interrogation in connection with the Rs 7,136-crore Satyam fraud. Mr Raju, his brother Mr B. Rama Raju, Satyam’s former CFO, Mr Vadlamani Srinivas, suspended partners of Price Waterhouse, Mr S. Gopalakrishnan, and Mr Talluri Srinivas, were picked up by the CBI team from Chenchalguda jail at 9.30 am after submitting a copy of the court order granting them custody, according to jail officials. The XIV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate had on Monday granted their custody to the CBI for eight days - from 10 am on March 10 to 4 pm on March 17. When contacted a senior CBI official said that interrogation had begun but declined to share any further details.
