NMPT observes Safety Day

Mangalore, March 7

New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT) observed the 38th National Safety Day here recently, according to a press release. Presiding over the function, Mr P. Tamilvanan, Chairman of NMPT, stressed the importance of safety in port operations and called for maintaining all safety precautions. The performance of the port will not be at the cost of safety, he said. Mr S. Gopalakrishna, Traffic Manager of NMPT, and Mr D.V. Ananth, Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer (FA&CAO) of NMPT, also spoke. - Our Bureau
