TCS, Ryan International in pact

Mumbai, Jan. 31

Tata Consultancy Services has entered into a partnership with Ryan International to deploy an ERP system for the Mumbai-based chain of educational institutions. TCS will leverage its IT-as-a-service model to make all the departments of Ryan International Group of Institutions IT-enabled. However, financial details of the deal were not revealed. "We have plans to cover areas of higher education in diverse fields such as engineering, medicine and management. From the forthcoming academic year, all our students will be able to access many such unique ICT initiatives, which will enable the parent to have an effective communication with the school and support their child's curriculum delivery using various technological platforms," said Mr. Francis Joseph, Organizational Development Head, Ryan International Group of Institutions. - Our Bureau
