Rail freight for foodgrains to go up by 8%

New Delhi, Jan. 29 Moving chemical manures, foodgrains, flours and pulses by train will become expensive by about 8 per cent with the Indian Railways deciding to charge these commodities at a higher tariff classification.

The decision will come into effect from February 1.
