Chennai, Jan. 25 The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has removed 15 stocks from the list of eligible securities for Futures & Options trading. There were removed from the F&O list as the stock failed to meet the SEBI eligibility criteria for trading in the derivatives market.

The stocks are: Ansal Properties & Infrastructure, Oswal Chemicals & Fertilizers, Bongaigaon Refinery & Petrochemicals, Brigade Enterprises, Core Projects and Technologies, Jammu & Kashmir Bank, Matrix Laboratories, NIIT Technologies, Orbit Corporation, Parsvanath Developers, Prism cement, Puravankara Projects, Sterlite Technologies, Voltamp Transformers and Walchandnagar Industries.

“However, the existing unexpired contracts for the month of January, February and March would continue to be available for trading till their respective expiry and new strikes would also be introduced in these existing contract months,” the NSE circular said.

It may be recalled, that Satyam Computers (all the three-month contracts) was removed from the F&O list following the scam, and the last date for the counter would be January 29.

With these removals, only 253 stocks would be available for trading in the F&O segment.
