Animal nutrition products

Hyderabad, Jan. 22

Indian Immunologicals Ltd (IIL) has launched three new generation products in animal nutrition segment. The products — Goudhara Shakti, Goudhara and Gousac — offer Rumen-protected bypass fat fortified with life yeast herbal galcagogues and live yeast powder for higher productivity and fat content in milk in dairy cattle, according to a release. “These products, developed through technological inputs from the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), offer an opportunity to the dairy farmers to optimise their feeding of animals, improve fat and energy intake, digestion and, thereby, increase milk production as well as fat percentage in milk,” the Hyderabad-based subsidiary of NDDB said. The launch of these products is also in line with NDDB’s National Dairy Plan, which seeks to enhance milk production from 100 million tonnes to 180 mt in next 15 years largely through improved nutrition and improved genetics. —
