Financial Performance Corporate Results - Outsourcing Zensar Tech revenues up Pune, Jan. 16 Zensar Technologies, IT and BPO service provider, has recorded revenues of Rs 249.43 crore for the quarter ended December 2008 as against Rs 199.20 crore recorded during the corresponding previous quarter. Net income stood at Rs 20.22 crore (Rs 15.02 crore). EPS increased from Rs 8.44 as compared to Rs 6.27, 35 per cent year-on-year. Mr S. Balasubramanim, Chief Financial Officer, Zensar said the market continued to tread on uncertain ground and the adverse exchange rate movement would impact the industry this quarter. "We have been adversely affected by the depreciation of key currencies to the extent of Rs 7 crore. Rs 1. 55-crore tax provision for assessment relating to prior years has also impacted the PAT," he added. - Our Bureau
