Hyderabad, Dec. 29 Dr Krishna G. Palepu, the faculty of Harvard Business School, has topped the list of independent directors in Satyam who received maximum remuneration with Rs 99.48 lakh last year. According to the report on corporate governance of the company for 2006-07, Dr Palepu’s remuneration included Rs 87.18 lakh of professional fee. Dr Mangalam Srinivasan, the first to resign from the board on December 25, received Rs 12.80 lakh, including a commission of Rs 12 lakh and sitting fee of Rs 80,000. Dr Mendu Rammohan Rao, Dean of Indian School of Business, received Rs 13.50 lakh, including sitting fee of Rs 1.50 lakh.
