TVS Motor’s new launch

Chennai, Dec. 11

TVS Motor Company has announced the launch of its premium segment motorcycle the Apache RTR 160 RD with factory fitted 200mm rear petal disc brake. A press release from the company said with rear disc brake Apache would have better braking performance ensuring safety of the rider. Since its launch the company’s priority in upgrading Apache has been to improve vehicle performance. The President of the company, Mr H S Goindi, said, “every system, detail and compo nent has been tuned to maximise performance.” The new variant will cost Rs 2,000 more than the existing drum brake version. —
