Federal Bank hikes NRE, FCNR rates

Kochi, Sept. 18

Federal Bank has hiked interest rates for NRE term deposits and FCNR deposits by 0.50 per cent with effect from September 17. The revised rate of interest for NRE term deposits for one to two year maturity is 3.71 per cent, two to three year period is 3.81 per cent and for three years and above it is 4.13 per cent, a press release from the bank has said. FCNR deposits in all currencies, US dollar, British Pound, Euro, Yen, Canadian and Australian dollar have been hiked by 0.50 per cent across all maturities.
