Highest number of campus offers: The Anna University students are waiting to know whether they have been selected by Cognizant Technology Solutions in Chennai on Friday. The company made 1,103 job offers to students of Anna University and its constituent colleges — the highest number of campus offers made by the US-based software company in its history. This year, the Nasdaq-listed company with offshore software development centres in India got the first slot at Anna University. The salary offered remained unchanged this year at Rs 3.05 lakh.
