Education States - Andhra Pradesh SMOT biz school tie-up Hyderabad, May 28 Chennai-based SMOT Business School entered into collaboration with the Canadian Association Management Consulting (CAMC) to offer Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) in management consulting. The 18-month PGPM course would be taught by three visiting faculty from CAMC and St Mary’s University, Canada (with which SMOT already has tie-up) and the certificate would be given jointly by SMOT and SMU, Dr D. Narasimhan, Director, SMOT, told newspersons here on Wedn esday. The school, which started its first batch in September 2007 with 50 students in Chennai, is in the process of setting up its campuses in Hyderabad and Bangalore next year. “We are planning to start batches in these cities from September 2009,” he said. It had also applied to the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) for recognition of its courses three months ago and was awaiting response, he added. – Our Bureau More Stories on : Education | Andhra Pradesh
