Reliance Communications has launched an educational portal called ‘Exam Guru’ on mobile platform that will provide information on exam results, college admissions, exam schedules, admission deadlines, mock tests and tips for bettering performance. The portal also contains a list of top universities, colleges, secondary education boards and career options. According to a press release, the portal is an interactive voice response-based service that also offers SM S alerts in subscription. Available for pre-paid and post-paid subscribers, one can access the portal by dialling 53030101 at a charge of Rs 3 a minute. They can also subscribe to a Rs 10 pack that is valid for 10 days, where each call will be charged at Re 1 a minute, the release said.
