The Hindu Business Line : Pyramid Saimira to invest Rs 40 cr

Chennai, April 7 Pyramid Saimira Production International Ltd, the production arm of the Pyramid Saimira Group, has announced that it will produce 52 films this year. Of this, the first ten will be Tamil films. The company will invest around Rs 35 – 40 crore towards the production of these ten films, Mr P.S. Saminathan, Managing Director of the group, announced.

He said, “Pyramid Saimira believes in scale and speed of execution. Production business, however, requires much higher level of creativity compared with other segments of the industry such as exhibition and distribution.”
