Q4 boosts KMML performance
Thiruvananthapuram, April 4
The state-owned Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd has
achieved record production of 35,512 tonnes of
titanium dioxide pigment during the year ended March
31, 2008. The company also recorded the highest sales of
35,768 tonnes during the year. In the last quarter between
January and March 2008, the production and sales were
10,403 tonnes and 12,465 tonnes, respectively, which
boosted the performance of the company for the year,
according to an official statement. Alongwith cost-cutting
and other efficiency improvement measures, the
company was looking forward to better performance
during the current year, the statement said. - Our Bureau
