Dish TV opening 18 customer care outlets in TN

Madurai, March 28 Dish TV India Ltd will be setting up 18 customer care outlets in Tamil Nadu, according to Mr V.P. Krishnakumar, Deputy Vice-President, South, Chennai.

Speaking to Business Line following the inauguration of the first of these outlets at North Veli Street here, he said they will be opened in major towns in the State during the course of the year.

At present there are 2 lakh customers in the State and the company has plans to add 15,000 new subscribers every month.

At the all-India level, major subscribers are from Maharashtra, Andhra and Karnataka. Unlike other TV channels, it enables interactive viewing and people have just started realising the potential it offers for different age groups, he added.
