Our Bureau

Hyderabad, March 11 Piaggio Vehicles on Tuesday announced the launch of Ape Xtra and Ape Xtra-LD 3-wheelers in Hyderabad, aimed at addressing the growing light transportation business.

The General Manager of Piaggio Vehicles, Mr J. Narayanan, said that these two models are likely to set a whole new standard in 3-wheeler performance, having been meticulously engineered to deliver outputs on all critical parameters, while offering more space and flexibility.

The standard version of Ape Xtra has a extra strong cold-rolled loading platform with additional reinforcement to enhance strength and give longer durability to the tray. The Xtra LD variant has an extra long deck, making it a longest body vehicle in this category.

Starting Tuesday, these two models will be rolled out across India providing customers a wider choice from the Piaggio stable.
