Usha Martin Academy launched

Usha Martin Academy, promoted by the Usha Martin
Group, was launched here on Wednesday. "The
courses to be provided by the Academy will try to bridge
the gap between what is taught in classrooms and what is
needed by the industry", Mr B.K. Jhawar, Chairman of
Usha Martin group, told Business Line. To start with,
according to Mr Jhawar, Usha Martin Academy will
provide a six-month course on information technology.
From July, it will begin an one-year diploma course in IT
and IT-related subjects. Graduates will be eligible for the
courses. "The academy's Jharkhand campus, to be
located in Ranchi, too will start functioning from July
with one-year diploma course", he said, pointing out that
in the education field, the group has much bigger plans
