HUL promoter holding up marginally
Mumbai, Feb. 7
The promoter's share in Hindustan Unilever Ltd has
marginally gone up to 52.12 per cent from 51.40 per
cent, post the buyback offer, the company informed the
Bombay Stock
Exchange. The
company invested
approximately Rs
626.27 crore in
buying back shares
at an average price
of Rs 207.13. The
buyback offer was
open from October
3, 2007 to January
31, 2008 and the
total number of shares bought back under the offer is
3,02,35,772 equity shares of Re 1 each, the company said.
