Allahabad Bank cuts retail loan rates

Kolkata, Feb. 5

Allahabad Bank has announced a cut in interest rates on retail loans such as housing loan, consumer loan, education loan and car loan by 50 to 100 basis points. The interest rates on term deposits with certain maturities, two years and above, up to 10 years, too have been reduced by 25 basis points. However, for term deposits with shorter tenure interest rates have been hiked by 75 to 100 basis points .
