Zylog invests Rs 30 cr in Chennai centre

Chennai, Feb. 4 Zylog Systems Ltd has invested Rs 30 crore, excluding land cost, in its new centre at the IT corridor in Sholinganallur, Chennai. The centre spread over 1.1 acres has a total seating capacity of 850 employees, and will be the biggest facility for the company.

Zylog plans to recruit 4,000 more employees (currently it has over 1,500 employees) in India over a period of next three years.

It also launched its IDEA (Innovative Development of Enterprise Applications) Lab, a software research and development centre at the new facility to work on solutions for consumer electronics industry.

Mr Sudarshan Venkatraman, Chairman and CEO, Zylog, in a press release said the company has grown over 50 per cent in the last five years and expects to close the current fiscal with a turnover of Rs 570 crore.
