Ageing population

"Coping with an ageing population" (Business Line, January 23) is becoming a big problem. But new problems need new solutions. First, the definition of ageing needs to be revised. Plans on how their services could be utilised should be put in place.

Health-care is another acute problem faced by the aged. Required provisions made in time could help solve them.
