New Delhi, Jan. 20 Virgin Group expects to formally announce details of its telecom and other business plans in India in a month’s time. Sir Richard Branson, Chairman of the Group, who is part of the delegation accompanying the visiting British Prime Minister, Mr Gordon Brown, is also expecting the issue of trade restrictions to be taken up, including those concerning aviation.

“Mr Brown is expected to take up the matter of restrictions in trade with the Indian Prime Minister and aviation is one of the issues,” said Mr Branson.

Declining to name his Indian partner for the telecom venture, he said “On this trip I am not doing any business. I am supporting the UK Prime Minister’s visit and meeting a lot of entrepreneurs,” he told presspersons.
