In a recruitment drive conducted by the Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU), 179 candidates got placements for various positions. Leading companies that participated in the selection process were the BPO units Infosys and HCL Technologies, Airtel and ICICI Bank. According to Dr. PR. Athappan, Dean-Industrial Consultancy, MKU, HCL recruited 81, Infosys 18, Airtel 19 and offer letters were issued to them. ICICI Bank, selecting 64 candidates, presented the offer letters in the presence of the Vice-Chancellor, Dr P. Maruthamuthu. - Our Correspondent
