Wipro signs MoU with PES Institutions

Bangalore, Dec. 12 Wipro has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PES Institutions, Bangalore to take its collaboration with the institution to the next level.

This MoU is the first of its kind that Wipro is signing in the Karnataka region.

The MoU envisages a set of planned activities and interactions addressing various stakeholders namely students, faculty and the management.

These activities and interactions include faculty development programmes, technical sponsorships and student workshops and many more.

One of the programmes is a student workshop that is structured with the emphasis on the importance of creative thinking that is paramount to succeed in the corporate world today.

Mr Pradeep Bahirwani, Vice President – Strategic Resourcing, said, “the objective of this MoU is to build industry-academia relationship and empower students to gear up for the challenges of the corporate world.”

Prof. Jawahar, CEO, PES Institutions, said, “The MoU aptly fits into the institute’s Campus Wide Quality Improvement Programme. Students stand to benefit immensely out of the MoU as it provides them a platform to interact with industry experts. MoU is also a good transition to students from academia to industry while they are still on campus.”
