Eco-informatics workshop

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov. 22

The Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management - Kerala (IIITM-K) is organising a one-day workshop on Eco-informatics here on November 23. The workshop will deliberate on the contemporary scientific challenges of global eco-physical processes in connection with the economic and scientific planning for a biologically rich state like Kerala, according to a statement from IIITM-K. The focal themes of the workshop include ecology/environmental science and informatics; ecology/economics - informatics and planning; and eco-informatics and its temporal relevance in Kerala. Experts from the fields of ecology and allied natural sciences, computer and information sciences as well as economists will deliver talks and submit discussion papers. - Our Bureau
