Human Resources Ma Foi in pact to launch online test tool The test will also categorise candidates who are over-confident in their abilities, under-confident, or realistic. Our Bureau Chennai, Nov. 21 Ma Foi Management Consultants Ltd and e-bilities Pty Ltd, Australia, will jointly introduce an online pre-employment screening test in India to identify the right candidate. The online tool will help companies undertaking large-scale recruitment screening migrate from the paper-based tests to Internet-based testing. Companies can ask candidates to take the online tests, which would cost around Rs 200 per test. For a bank seeking around 1,000 candidates, it will take a few minutes to screen the test results online, compared to nearly two days in the paper-based testing method, said Mr K. Pandia Rajan, Managing Director and CEO, Ma Foi. Categorising candidatesThe Australian company will make its testing tool available to the Ma Foi network of 88 offices and academies across 53 locations in India. The e-bilities test will also categorise candidates who are over-confident in their abilities, under-confident, or realistic. The tool is currently available in Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and China, according to Mr Mark Cadman, Managing Director, e-bilities. Target sectorsMr Rajan said around one lakh candidates could use the online test next year. Till now, only the psychometric test is made online by Ma Foi. For the online test of e-bilities, Ma Foi is targeting sectors such as information technology, IT-enabled services, banking, financial services and insurance, government and education. The assessment market in India is estimated to be around Rs 175 crore, and growing at 35 per cent a year. Ma Foi expects its revenue from the assessment business to nearly double to Rs 5 crore next year. More Stories on : Human Resources | Consulting
