Honeywell, VTU initiatives

Bangalore, Nov 19

Honeywell Technology and Visvesvaraya Technological University announced a spate of initiatives. A scholarship that will provide outstanding students with financial and academic resources to complete their final year of studies; as well as a monetary award in the amount of Rs 1.5 lakh to offset tuition costs and/or other education related expenses was launched.

An internship programme will give students a paid summer internship at a Honeywell facility in an effort to further identify those with the greatest potential for success in a Honeywell career path. VTU faculty and Honeywell experts have jointly worked on an M.Tech in Avionics. The curriculum of this course has been tailor made to suit the needs of Honeywell employees. - Our Bureau
