Hyderabad, Oct. 5

Toto, a leading Japanese plumbing products company, is looking at investing in India in three-five years on manufacturing facility, when it hopes to achieve a sales turnover of $30-40 million.

“We are looking at a certain turnover before investing in India,” Mr Koji Nakano, General Manager (International Business Development), said.

Addressing a press conference here on Friday, he said the company was focussing on international business. Currently, this segment contributed 10 per cent of the company’s turnover of $4.34 billion.

Showroom

Mr Nakano was here in connection with the launch of Toto’s exclusive showroom run by Value Line Trade (Private) Ltd. The company planned to open 10 more such outlets in major cities in the next few months.

Toto has bagged big ticket clients such as GMR Hyderabad International Airport, Taj Krishna and TCS in Hyderabad.
