FINO, PNB tie-up for smart cards

Coimbatore, Oct. 2

Mumbai-based technology solutions provider and multi-bank promoted company FINO (Financial Information Network and Operations Ltd) plans to partner with Punjab National Bank for rolling out smart cards for the rural masses in Rajasthan. Announcing the tie-up, FINO has in a release said that it would enable PNB’s zero-balance savings account customers carry out transactions by providing FINO smart cards and POT (Point of Transaction) devices. The project is aimed at c atering to PNB’s rural masses across the country.
