Bhubaneswar, Oct 2 National Aluminium Company Ltd (Nalco) has received the top export award of Capexil, under processed minerals category, for the year 2006-07. The company’s Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Mr C.R. Pradhan, has received the award on behalf of the company from the Lok Sabha Speaker, Mr Somnath Chatterjee, at a function held in New Delhi. For the 20th year in succession, Nalco has been receiving this prestigious award under different categories, the company said in a rel ease. During 2006-07, Nalco achieved the highest-ever sales turnover of Rs 6,515 crore, including the highest-ever export earning of Rs 2,585 crore. The net profit was also the highest-ever at Rs 2,381 crore last fiscal.
