Ajuba to double headcount

Chennai, Aug. 10

Ajuba Solutions India Pvt Ltd, a BPO working in the healthcare revenue cycle outsourcing area, plans to double headcount to 3,000 employees over the next two years. Of this, about 1,000 candidates are likely to be hired this fiscal, according to Mr Shankar Narsimhan, Director-Human Resources and Finance, Ajuba Solutions. The addressable US healthcare market that Ajuba Solutions services is estimated to be worth about $10 billion (Rs 40,000 crore). Of this, Indian outsourci ng companies have tapped only about $500 million (about Rs 2,000 crore), he said. The company is also likely to invest about $2.5 million in setting up a centre in Mumbai or the NCR region (New Delhi) by early next year. The company plans to move some of its voice-based work to the new centre from its Chennai facilities. “We would like Chennai to focus on insurance and accounts receivable work that is more non-voice in nature,” he said. Mr Narasimhan said that for every one per cent appreciation in the rupee, EBITDA margins will be affected by 20-40 basis points. — Archana Venkat
