Mangalore, Aug. 3

Pantaloon Retail (India) Ltd launched its hypermarket store – Big Bazaar – in Udupi on Friday. A press release said here that Big Bazaar now has 10 stores in Karnataka with this launch. In Karnataka, Big Bazaar has presence in Bangalore, Mangalore, Hubli and Udupi. Pantaloon Retail (India) Ltd has a total of 64 Big Bazaar and 94 Food Bazaar stores across the country. Spread over an area of 35,000 sq.ft, Big Bazaar is located near Taluk Office in Udupi. Quoting Mr Rohit Malhotra, Head-Operations, South Zone, Pantaloon Retail (I) Ltd, the release said: “Big Bazaar will bring convenience plus rich shopping experience to the people of Udupi.”
