Software Marketing - New Products & Services Naethra Tech unveils product
Our Bureau Coimbatore, July 30 In an effort to help the industry accelerate the pace of implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Naethra Technologies has launched Computeriserd Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software product - Redefine Your Maintenance (ReDYM). The company, which has roped in Delphi TVS, Lucas TVS etc as its customers, foresees a strong growth in demand for the product in India. According to Mr Murali Ramakrishnan, CEO, Naethra Technologies, the maintenance departments in factories do not get “enough senior management attention” since they are deemed to be “cost centres”. He contrasted this with the approach in the West where CMMS is used to increase the “efficacy of the maintenance function”. He said ReDYM helps to automate the functions of the shop floor maintenance department. The important modules are break down maintenance, planned maintenance and spare parts management. The application offers seamless integration with SAP, Oracle Applications and other enterprise systems. The IT and BPO services provider, which has offices in Chennai and Coimbatore, is targeting the mid-cap and large companies in the manufacturing sector with an annual turnover of Rs 150 crore or more. He said the TPM implementation time frame can be reduced by 40 per cent and the payback period is about 12-14 months.
