Shringar Cinemas is making its foray into the South with its Fame brand of multiplexes. The first, Fame Lido, a four-screen, 1,029-seat multiplex, will be launched in mid-September at Bangalore. “We will launch two properties by the end of the fiscal,” said Mr Rishi Negi, CEO of Big Pictures Hospitality Services. The second property, Fame Shankarnag Symphony, a leased single-screen theatre, would be operational by the end of the year. The 560-seat theatre woul d have a 40-seat Gold Lounge and 120-seat Jubilee Lounge.
