Karnataka Bank Ltd has brought all its 411 branches under the core banking solution - Finacle. A bank release said here on Wednesday that the bank arranged a function at Bangalore recently to mark this achievement. Mr N.R. Narayana Murthy, Chairman and Chief Mentor of Infosys Technologies Ltd, who was the chief guest, lauded the vision and timely completion of the networking of the bank’s branches. The adoption of technology has helped the bank reduce its operating c ost considerably, he said. Mr Ananthakrishna, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the bank, presided over the function, the release added. —
