Hilti India eyes Rs 200-cr sales

New Delhi June 15 Hilti India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hilti Corporation is aiming to double its sales turnover to Rs 200 crore by 2009, from Rs 100 crore estimated in 2007.

The company is also eyeing a 30-35 per cent annual growth in its employee base, which is currently pegged at 300 people. Hilti has worked with about 15,000 customers from engineering and construction sectors, including Reliance, JP Associates, L&T Gammon, DLF, Unitech and Simplex amongst others.

"The key drivers of our growth have been our product offerings, skilled people, market strategy and booming Indian infrastructure and construction industry," said Mr Mani Sehmi, President of Hilti India.
