Bangalore, June 11

Paris-based fashion television channel Fashion TV is looking to enhance its portfolio by exploring options in the lifestyle and fashion space. Plans include setting up spas, cafés and bars across the country, said Mr Bharath Sheth, Chief Operating Officer, Fashion TV India. The channel has entered into a tie up with Bangalore-based fitness centre Chisel to open its first spa and fitness salon — F.Chisel — in Bangalore. Plans include setting up more co-branded salons in all the major metros in the country. "In the next two years, we will open 7-8 F.Chisel centres in the country," said Mr Sheth.

Fashion TV's next stop is Hyderabad where it will soon open a bar (F.Bar). The company is also looking to open European style cafés (F.Café) around the country in three months. Fashion TV is available in 230 countries across 400 million homes. In India, Fashion TV is aired in 18 million homes.
