Huawei gets TEC certification

The Telecom Engineering Centre (TEC), the technical wing of the Department of Telecom, has certified Huawei Technologies to provide migration solutions for Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPV6). IPV6 is the new standard for Internet that will enable more number of IP addresses. Development of mobile and broadband technologies will bring greater demands of IP addresses in the future.

With the certification, Huawei will be able to offer its technology to Indian telecom operators to migrate from the existing Internet standard -IPV4, to IPV6.
