Radio `Meow' for women audiences

New Delhi May 31 Meow 104.8 FM, a radio channel dedicated to women, has been launched by Radio Today. The talk format-radio station operates in the sense that there's an audience out there, amidst all music lovers, which prefers to be heard.

The station, already on air in Delhi, expects to be available in Mumbai, Kolkata, Amritsar, Patiala, Shimla and Jodhpur in the next few months.

"Talk radio is an exciting new concept and will certainly be an emerging trend in the Indian market. The launch of Meow 104.8 FM has taken immense courage and Radio Today believes that it is fantastic to be different," said Mr Anil Srivatsa, COO, Radio Today, in a release.
