Kottayam May 1 The domestic rubber prices closed almost unchanged on Friday. The markets were extremely weak in the morning session under the international influence but recovered towards noon in tune with Japanese markets. On the physical front, sheet rubber closed slightly weak at Rs 84 against Rs 84.25 and Rs 84.50 a kg respectively at Kottayam and Kochi. The volumes were very low as most of the traders preferred to stay out to avoid heavy losses in a rather speculative market. The trend was mixed.
