Mumbai May 4 Jet Airways confirmed delivery of two of the 20 wide-bodied aircraft contracted for. The first B77-300ER and Airbus A330-200 aircraft were received by the airline in Brussels, said a press release. The airline would now provide enhanced connectivity between India and Europe, South Africa and North America with the creation of its European hub in Brussels. Jet has signed a memorandum of understanding with Brussels Airlines on code sharing, frequent flyer partnership and through check-in facilities, the release said. Jet will launch daily services from Mumbai to New York via Brussels from August 5. It will also offer daily services from Delhi to Toronto via Brussels later in the year. It plans to operate 10 daily flights from Brussels between cities in India and cities in the US and Canada.
