MICO profit rises 60%

Bangalore April 27 Auto parts' maker MICO has reported a 60 per cent profit rise during the first quarter of 2007 to Rs 183.8 crore.

For the same period, the company posted a 15.15 per cent increase in total sales to Rs 1,070.11 crore.

A notice to the National Stock Exchange said that the company's revenues from auto products during the quarter were Rs 969.59 crore, while it reported a profit of Rs 180.52 crore from the same segment.
